About Josh

Josh’s love of sacred geometry started when he was 5 years old, when he started making polyhedra with his grandmother - tracing paper, cutting them out, and using scotch tape to connect them together. Grandma also had a pottery studio where Josh got to work with clay. He didn’t yet understand the shapes he made as “sacred geometry” - that would come later - but he felt their amazing power. He has been a builder ever since.
When he was 12, he started working with his mother, a professional jewelry maker. He loved (and still loves) figuring out all the aspects of fabrication: cutting and forming the parts, sanding and finishing, and assembling with fasters, glue, welding, soldering or whatever else is called for. It is a thrill to see the parts become a finished whole.
Entering adulthood, Josh studied sculpture at Manchester Community College in Connecticut, and then The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which is considered one of the top ten art and design schools in the world. He also studied welding at Cheney Technical Institute in Connecticut, to further develop his metalworking skills.
Then, over the last 30 years, Josh’s experience has included:
Fabricating parts for high end furniture companies.
Constructing custom railings and architectural components.
Creating theatrical sets.
Building animal habitats for zoos and aquariums.
Precision crafting parts for nuclear power plants.
Building large scale public art installations, with large teams.
Supervising and constructing high-end remodeling projects.
Designing, building and installing custom cabinets.
And now, making your home even more sacred.
Alongside designing and making just about everything, Josh has developed his spiritual skills. He practices yoga and meditation daily, and has for many years. He has done intensive yoga and meditation retreats in India - a cleansing and training of mind, body and spirit. He has studied Tai Chi Chuan and yoga. He is close to the spirits Hashem and Shiva, and they inspire and guide his work and his life. And he has dabbled in Vajrayana Buddhism, ceremonial magick, ecstatic dance, hypnotic drumming, devotional praise in the form of singing, and living with intention.
